The Vehicle
Every vehicle is checked in the garage after each safari. Thanks to the original design, everyone can enjoy a window seat. If this isn't enough, the rooftop can always be opened so that you may have a 360 degrees view of Africa's finest environments.
Lodge Accommodation
Opt for lodge accommodation if you want the most exclusive safari experience. Enjoy buffet meals, wildlife encounters, and all the comfort of a luxurious hotel while you are on safari. You will be well rested and relaxed every single day, with nothing to worry about.
Kilimanjaro Trekking
Expect to be physically challenged and expect to feel proud when reaching the summit. Only Marangu route has hut accommodation throughout, otherwise accommodation is mostly tented. We advise you to bring thermal underwear or other warm clothes and comfortable water-resistant walking boots. A torch that's attachable to your head, a poncho and a smaller backpack for the things you wish to carry with you always come in handy. Don't forget to pack plenty of socks just in case: hiking with wet socks is very uncomfortable. Sunglasses or ski glasses are also very useful since the sun can be very bright when reflecting on the snow and winds can be strong high upon the mountain.
The Big Five
The "Big Five" animals are the lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant and buffalo. We try or best to show or clients all of them. Rhinoceros are particularly difficult to spot but we keep or eyes and ears open for you. Safaris with a longer duration have a good chance of spotting them all, but even on 2 or 3 day safaris we have a chance to see them all. It's very rare NOT to spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, lions, gazelles, warthogs, monkeys & various birds.
Tented Lodge Accommodation
For those wishing more comfort during the night, there are tented lodges available. These luxurious tents have actual beds and private bathrooms. The sites have a restaurant where you can enjoy a drink after safari. This mid-range accommodation is ideal for wanting to have the comfort of their own space after a full day game drive.
Cuisine
Three meals are provided for each full tour day (2 meals for the first and the last day). Breakfast has everything you need to start your day well: coffee, tea, fruits, pancakes, bread, eggs,... A packaged lunch is provided during the game drive/hike to be enjoyed within the parks' scenic pick-nick sites. Our cooks prepare a delicious three-course-dinner in the evening. For lodge accommodation, dinner and breakfast are in the form of a buffet. If you have any special dietary needs, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate you.
Tented Camping Safari
The cheapest option to go on safari is to choose for a tented safari. Mattresses and sleeping bags are provided. We make sure we have one tent per two people, but three or four can fit in one tent. Campsites have a washroom and shower. Dinner is prepared in the campsite kitchen. There is a dining hall in which the group can enjoy lunch
